This Policy explains which cookies the website soliton.studio uses, why, and how a visitor can manage their choice. It forms an integral part of the Personal Data Processing Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in the visitor's browser. They let the site remember a visitor's choice between visits and gather usage statistics. Cookie identifiers combined with other data may qualify as personal data, so their use falls under Federal Law No. 152-FZ.

Alongside cookies the Website uses the browser's local storage (localStorage) — a technically different mechanism serving the same purpose: remembering the visitor's decision about this notice.

2. Files used

IdentifierPurposeCategoryDuration
soliton.cookie.consent Stores the visitor's cookie choice so the notice is not shown again. Written to localStorage. Strictly necessary Until browser data is cleared or the choice is reset
soliton.lang Stores the chosen interface language so the same section — Russian or English — opens on the next visit. Written to localStorage; contains no information about the visitor. Strictly necessary Until browser data is cleared
_ym_uid, _ym_d, _ym_isad, _ym_visorc Files of the Yandex.Metrica web analytics service (operator: Yandex LLC, TIN 7736207543). The Metrica analytics cookies also power the Session Replay (Webvisor) and Click Map features, which record anonymised on-page actions; the contents of form fields containing personal data are excluded from the recording. They allow visits to be attributed to the same browser and anonymised traffic statistics to be collected. They are set only after "Accept" is pressed; until then the counter is not loaded onto the page at all. They are not created if "Strictly necessary only" is chosen. Analytics from 30 minutes to 24 months

The Website uses no third-party advertising or tracking cookies, no social media pixels and no files that would build a profile of the visitor beyond the Website. Fonts and scripts are served from the Operator's own server, so third-party content delivery networks receive no visitor data.

The Website uses the Yandex.Metrica web analytics service. Before "Accept" is pressed, the only thing the Website stores in the browser is your choice regarding this notice. Pressing "Accept" additionally enables the Yandex.Metrica analytics files listed in the table above. "Strictly necessary only" does not enable them and does not restrict access to the Website's content.

3. Legal basis

Strictly necessary files are set on the basis of the Operator's legitimate interest in keeping the Website operational (Article 6(1)(7) of Federal Law No. 152-FZ). Analytics files are set solely on the basis of the visitor's consent (Article 6(1)(1)), expressed by pressing "Accept" in the notice.

4. Managing your choice

4.1. On a first visit the Website shows a notice with two options: "Accept" and "Necessary only". The choice is saved and the notice is not shown again.

4.2. The decision can be changed at any time:

4.3. Cookies can also be managed in the browser — deleting stored files, blocking them or setting per-site exceptions, usually under privacy and security settings. Disabling strictly necessary files may break parts of the Website.

4.4. Declining analytics files does not restrict access to any material on the Website and does not affect the ability to submit an enquiry.

5. Amendments

The Operator may amend this Policy. If the set of files changes, the notice is shown again so the visitor can confirm their choice for the new version. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document.

6. Contact

Questions about cookies may be sent to info@soliton.studio. The Operator's details are in section 16 of the Personal Data Processing Policy.
