YachtJet — private charter in the Mediterranean
// Goal
Sell a week aboard a premium yacht. At that price the decision turns on specifics — real availability, an honest quote and a yacht you understand — not on gloss.
// Brief
Build the site around the fleet: specifications first, an interactive 3D model of the flagship, routes laid out day by day, and a plain breakdown of what the rate covers versus what comes out of the APA.
How we built it
Charter sites share one affliction: plenty of sunsets, no information. We inverted the priority — every yacht opens with its specification: length, beam, guests and cabins, crew, year built and refitted, weekly rate before APA. Four yachts are listed publicly and four are held for returning guests, which the page says outright.
The flagship Oasis 40M got an interactive 3D hull with four inspection points: the bow with recessed ground tackle and a plunge pool, the profile with cruise figures, the topsides running the full 8.2-metre beam, and the folding transom of the beach club. The model orbits and zooms, and when WebGL is switched off it degrades to a photograph — the page keeps working in full.
Stages of delivery
Fleet first
Eight yachts, each led by its specification: LOA, beam, guests and cabins, crew, build and refit years, weekly rate.
3D flagship model
The interactive Oasis 40M hull with four inspection points — bow, profile, topsides, stern — with orbit controls and a photographic fallback without WebGL.
Routes by the day
Three cruising areas — Ionian, Dalmatia, Tyrrhenian — each broken down anchorage by anchorage with distance in nautical miles and best months.
A day aboard
A timeline of one Tuesday, from coffee on the foredeck to dinner on the sun deck, instead of generic service promises.
Transparent rate
Two lists: what the weekly rate includes and what is paid from the APA, with how the deposit is spent and what is returned explained.
Enquiry and FAQ
A form covering dates, guest count, cruising area and yacht preference, plus the six questions asked most weeks.
Outcome
Eight crewed yachts from 24 to 50 metres, a season running April to October, a broker reply within 24 hours. The site answers questions before the guest asks them: how far ahead to book by season, what the APA actually is, whether the route can change once aboard, children and pets, what happens if the weather turns, and the absence of a booking fee.
The interactive 3D model carries its own argument: the guest walks the hull before walking the deck.

The site opens in a new tab.
